Position Description

Part of the Recruiting Team the Account Executive processes an in-depth understanding of the Sales and recruitment process with a focus on sales.  The Account Executive will be responsible for prospecting new client relationships in addition to meeting new contacts in existing customer accounts. You are skilled building and sustaining relationships with existing and prospective clients while managing assigned accounts on a day-to-day basis.

Demonstrated ability to work as a high-performing Account Executive, working in an agency setting in a high-growth and fast-paced environment; typically gained through 3+ years professional experience.

As a recruiting agency, the Account Executive is a brand ambassador for 10 Percent Recruiting and its clients, representing the company at job fairs and candidate events.  The Account Executive is a people-person who possesses a blend of soft skills and technical knowledge with the ability to negotiate and have sufficient technical knowledge to build relationships with our clients Technical Managers.


Experience Required

  • Full understanding of the recruitment process and hiring practices (sourcing, screening, assessment, onboarding)
  • 2 years+ experience in sales sourcing clients as an agency Account Executive, marketing top candidates, and building a strong network of clients and candidates through expert use of online sourcing techniques (LinkedIn, Indeed, Social Media, Job Boards), networking, referrals etc.
  • Proficiency with ATS software and Microsoft Office
  • Familiarized with IT Recruitment, general technologies, and IT terminology.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) and the ability to communicate effectively with candidates and managers at the technical and business level.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, time management, and negotiation skills.
  • Multi-tasking ability to source candidates for different jobs or different clients.
  • Sense of urgency is a must.
  • Proven track record of developing candidate relationships and managing candidate expectations.
  • Analytical and process oriented, with an ability to drive decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through.
  • Problem solving mentality leveraging internal and/or external resources.
  • Attention to detail and quality while maintaining a high level of productivity, managing deadlines and multiple conflicting priorities.
  • Able to work effectively in a complex environment at a fast pace with an unpredictable work schedule.
  • Drive the offer process – including extending offers, negotiations, closing candidates.
  • Provide excellent support to candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a world class candidate experience.
  • Maintain a digital presence and find creative ways to build your network.
  • University degree or related technical diplomas are strongly encouraged.
